Established in 2000, Blush Creative is a professional photography studio proud to have photographed over 32,500 clients to date. Based in South Yarra, Melbourne, Blush Creative offers a full range of professional photography services. We specialise in corporate, model, individual, couple and family portraits. We also do commercial, editorial and fashion photography, online dating photography, portfolio photography, personal/business branding photography and more.
All of our personalised photo shoot sessions offer full makeup and hairstyling services by industry professionals (as required). We also include a complimentary pre photo shoot “Brand Image Consultation” with all of our business/personal branding and corporate photo shoots to make sure the images we create align with your vision and help you take your business to the next level. After 18+ years in business we have an amazing network of other professionals that we know and trust who we can connect you with including graphic designers, printers, web designers, SEO specialists, finance, property, marketing experts and lots more.
As well as our upmarket photography services we also sublease a variety of unique creative spaces within our beautiful retail store in The Como Centre, South Yarra. Blush Creative is a collaboration of Melbourne’s best artists, beauty/fashion brands and creative people coming together as a ‘living fashion magazine’ in The Como Centre, South Yarra. We are subleasing studios (photographic, video, TV, media), art gallery, office space, workshop/training rooms, event space, beauty rooms, retail popup, display cases and more.

Meet the directors and founders of Blush Creative – Melinda Kay and Jo Larsen
Melinda has a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts (photography) and has over 20 years of photography experience. For the past 9 years she has volunteered as an art tutor (art therapy) at her local community centre Gateway Community Services and is also Vice President on Gateway’s board.
Jo has a solid background in sales, marketing and corporate training and her strength is helping each client identify the key points of their personal brand to make them stand out from the rest. She is also a proud mum of 2 boys.
Together we have photographed over 31,000 clients since we started the business in the year 2000! We’re passionate about making a difference, helping causes close to our hearts and being contribution to others. We’re proud to say that in 2009 a Blush Creative photograph won $60,000 for HeartKids in the Canon ‘Creative for a Cause’ competition!
We pride ourselves in the personal connection we make with each and every client who comes to Blush Creative for a photo shoot. Let’s face it, having your photos taken is daunting for most people! We aim to make it fun, relaxing and empowering! We love being part of the process with our clients and get a real buzz out of creating authentic imagery to represent a client’s personal brand or showing someone how beautiful they really are or capturing a special family moment or creating a portfolio to help our client get work as a model or that perfect photo to help someone find love online….
