Alicia Lis is a Melbourne-based singer-songwriter. With her graceful tones and raw story-telling, Alicia Lis’ voice has been described as “lovely and enchanting” by UK lead singer Cameron Bradbury from band ‘Mantis State.’ Added to this sound, Alicia’s music overall blends in an eclectic flavour of folk, jazz, blues, funk and soul. Alicia Lis makes her return to the music scene from a long break, raising a family and establishing a music teaching career spanning 14 years long.
Alicia’s recent accolades include the ‘2021 Winner of Stage Door’ online singing competition 16+ category, finalist in Radio Eastern 98.1 FM’s ‘Season 4 Talent Search Competition’ for her original song ‘Shape Up’.
She has also been a two-time finalist on ‘Homegrown Superstars’ and made it to the ‘Top 100 FLAIRXL’ talent competition out of other entrants from four countries including, USA, Canada, UK and Australia, with her original song ‘Something Wild’ being broadcast live to thousands. She is featured in Spotify podcast series ‘The Art of Being a Mum,’ with the hope that her story inspires others to do what they love.
Alicia is currently working on her debut EP titled ‘Lola’, due to be released later this year on all platforms.
